Nerea Peña Gojenuri

Born in Bilbao (Spain), Nerea studied at the Carlos III University of Madrid; at the University of Paris X; at the University of Beijing; at the University of the Basque Country; and at the Technological University of Monterrey.
She is a lawyer with a specialty in the Chinese legal system, with a Master’s in Global Business and a Master’s in Executive Management.
She is fluent in four languages (English, French, Spanish and Basque), with the ability to communicate in Chinese.
She has been a working professional in Mexico since September 2013, and in 2015 Welmex was born.
Throughout its history, Welmex has established numerous projects for foreign companies in Mexico, accumulating extensive experience working with companies as well as public and private institutions. We are partners with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Mexico. We have strong, collaborative ties through joint ventures with the Bizkaia Chamber of Commerce, Mondragon University and the Ner Business Group, among others.
